INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Preheat oven to 350 F.
  2. Butter baking dish
  3. Combine milk, eggs, sugar, vanilla, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg in a bowl.
  4. Combine bread and raisins/craisins/apple in buttered baking dish.
  5. Pour milk/spice mixture over bread/raisins.
  6. Let stand for 5 minutes to let bread absorb liquids.
  7. Cook for 50 min at 350 F.
  8. Sauce: Combine ingredients in sauce pan. Cook on low heat for ~3 minutes, stirring constantly. Serve on/with pudding.
