pumpkin

1 can (14oz) sweetened condensed milk

2 eggs, slightly beaten

1 tsp ground cinnamon

1/2 tsp ground ginger

1/2 tsp ground nutmeg

1/2 tsp salt

whipped topping and nuts (optional)

9" pie crust
INSTRUCTIONS
- Preheat oven to 425F
- In a large bowl, combine filling ingredients. Mix well and pour into pie crust.
- Bake for 15 minutes at 425F. Reduce oven temp to 350F and continue baking for 35-40 minutes or until knife inserted comes out clean.
- Cool pie before cutting. Garnish with whipped topping and nuts, if desired. Refrigerate leftovers.
NOTES
If using 12 oz can evaporated milk, add 1/2 to 3/4 cup of granulated sugar
